Trauma informed therapy

This modality takes into account the life experiences of each person. In this, a distinction can be made between what kind of behaviour is unhealthy, and what kind of behaviour is simply an adaptation to the circumstances and threats of traumatic events. Therefore, this therapy involves a sensitive and paced focus on patterns of behaviour and thoughts that have developed in response to a threat or trauma, and that is no longer needed.

Cognitive BEHAVIOURAL therapy

However, in CBT, we look at how our mood can be helped by replacing negative patterns of thinking and acting with more helpful patterns. This therapy method carries one of the strongest evidence bases for being effective in changing mood, assisting with depression, anxiety and anger management problems.
